Kids clutter

So it's half term. Kids are bored and you don't want to spend any more money on day trips.. What's a parent to do?.. Spend time at home with them. Have a day helping to make their rooms easy to keep tidy. Create a space for everything so toys/ books/ clothes all have their own place which makes putting things away a doddle. Use containers to store items together. Keep frequently used toys on lower shelves. Label boxes (writing or pictures). Praise children if they choose to donate old clothing, outgrown toys and games to charity. Keep sessions short and fun and finish off with a treat such as a walk to the park/watching a favourite dvd/game of cards. Don't know where to start? Feel overwhelmed?
